======Tone and Themes====== ==== Themes and Style ==== Reunion is a game about mysteries, small town-weirdness and the hidden supernatural. There'll be big themes of fate, predestination and the nature of freedom. Over the course of the game, the players will explore and uncover hidden truths about the world they thought they knew, break laws they didn't know existed and push boundaries like never before. Players should be aware that their characters may have pre-existing connections with other characters of which they are currently unaware. Reunion is a relatively tight game, and players will get the most out of it if they directly engage with the core plot and themes. In addition, players may find that their actions get wrapped up in a wider whole even if they thought they were doing their own thing. Player versus player conflict is expected to form part of this game, but we don't anticipate a high character turnover. ====Inspirations==== Reunion is a game of mystery, small-town weirdness and the hidden supernatural.
